Terms of use
These terms apply to the PichLabs website, Cleanup Go, CarCast, and RemoteGo.
01 / PichLabs — general terms
These terms cover the PichLabs website, Cleanup Go, CarCast, and RemoteGo. By using them, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using them. You must have the legal capacity to agree, or use the app with a parent or guardian’s permission and supervision where required.
Use our services lawfully and only with media, accounts, and machines you are authorized to manage. Do not interfere with services, attempt unauthorized access, or copy, redistribute, or reverse engineer our software except as permitted by applicable law or its license.
One-time purchases
Where one of our apps offers a one-time purchase, including one described as “lifetime” or “unlimited,” it gives you access to the purchased features for the supported lifetime of that app. It does not promise indefinite service, compatibility with every future device, vehicle, or operating system, or future products. An app or feature may stop working or become unavailable because of changes by Apple, vehicle manufacturers, or other third parties, or because an app is changed or removed from sale.
Apple handles billing and decides App Store refund requests under its rules; PichLabs cannot issue those refunds directly. Any guarantee or refund help described in an app means we will help you make a request to Apple, not that a refund will be granted. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
02 / Cleanup Go — review, deletion, and backups
Cleanup Go helps you review and manage your photo library. Similarity matches, duplicate detection, quality suggestions, and estimated space savings are automated suggestions, not guarantees of accuracy, completeness, or actual recovered storage. You are responsible for reviewing selected items and confirming each deletion or other change.
Accidental deletion and data loss
Keep an independent backup of important photos and videos before using cleanup or optimization features. Cleanup Go is not a backup or recovery service. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PichLabs is not responsible for accidental or unintended deletions, lost or corrupted media, loss of metadata, or other data loss resulting from your use of Cleanup Go, including reliance on suggested selections.
When iCloud Photos is enabled, deletions may synchronize to iCloud and other connected devices. Apple Photos generally keeps deleted items in Recently Deleted for 30 days, but permanent deletion, expiration, and Apple’s settings or service behavior can prevent recovery. We do not guarantee recovery. Selection undo in Cleanup Go does not restore deleted media. See Apple’s deletion and recovery guidance.
Compression and conversion
Video compression and Live Photo conversion create new copies. Compression can reduce quality, resolution, or metadata; converting a Live Photo to a still removes motion and audio from the new copy. Review and verify the saved copy before approving removal of the original. Actual output, processing time, and savings depend on the media, available storage, and device. You are responsible for retaining originals you need.
Permissions and availability
Cleanup Go requires photo permissions for its library features. Restricted access, cloud-only media, device limitations, or insufficient storage may affect scanning and processing. Analysis and processing run on your device; Apple may handle iCloud downloads and synchronization.
03 / Cleanup Go — purchases and App Store license
Cleanup Go may offer an optional, one-time lifetime unlock. The current price and included features are shown in the app and Apple’s purchase confirmation before payment. “Lifetime” refers to access to the purchased features for the supported lifetime of Cleanup Go; it does not promise indefinite service, compatibility with every future device or operating system, or all future products.
Apple handles billing, purchase authorization, and refund requests under its applicable rules. Eligible purchases can be restored with the Apple Account used to buy them through Restore Purchases. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Apple’s standard end-user license agreement applies to App Store downloads unless a separate applicable license is provided. These terms supplement that license and do not override Apple’s rules for App Store matters.
04 / CarCast — content, compatibility, and safe use
CarCast plays user-supplied media and streams. It does not provide channels, movies, streaming subscriptions, or rights to third-party content. You must supply content and accounts you are authorized to use and comply with the provider’s terms, copyright law, and any restrictions on playback, downloading, or display. Do not use CarCast to bypass digital rights management or access controls.
Parked-only use and driver responsibility
Use in-car video, browsing, and screen sharing only while the vehicle is safely and lawfully parked, out of traffic, with the vehicle in park or otherwise secured so it cannot move. Being stopped at a traffic light, in traffic, or at a junction is not parked. Never watch video, browse, screen share, or operate CarCast while driving or while the vehicle is moving, and never show content on any screen the driver can see while the vehicle is moving, even if a passenger is using the app. If a vehicle or local law prohibits this use, do not use it.
CarCast itself does not detect whether a vehicle is moving. Do not rely on CarCast, iOS, or your vehicle to stop playback when it moves. A confirmation prompt is your acknowledgement of these rules. It is not proof that a vehicle is stationary, and no CarCast feature replaces your own judgment. The driver is solely responsible at all times for the safe and lawful operation of the vehicle and for following road-safety laws and the vehicle manufacturer’s requirements.
Your risk and responsibility
You use CarCast in or around a vehicle at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PichLabs and its owners, developers, and contributors are not responsible for any collision, injury, death, property damage, fine, penalty, insurance consequence, or other loss arising from use of CarCast while driving, or from any other unsafe or unlawful use.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold PichLabs and those persons harmless from claims by others, including reasonable legal costs, that arise from your use of CarCast in breach of this section. If you do not accept this section, do not use CarCast in a vehicle. The mandatory rights and liability exceptions in section 07 continue to apply.
Compatibility and third-party content
Vehicle and external-display playback depend on compatible hardware, operating systems, permissions, connections, and available platform capabilities. We do not guarantee video support in every CarPlay vehicle, support for every format or provider, or continued compatibility after third-party updates. Protected media may not support screen sharing or external playback. CarCast is independently developed and does not imply endorsement by a vehicle manufacturer or content provider.
You are responsible for internet and mobile data charges, provider subscriptions, and securing your source credentials. Third-party services may change, restrict, or stop access. Keep backups of media you need; imported files, downloads, library records, or playback progress may be lost if you remove them, uninstall the app, or experience device or software failure.
License and payments
Apple’s standard end-user license agreement applies to App Store downloads unless a separate applicable license is supplied. Any App Store payment is subject to Apple’s payment and refund rules. The one-time purchase terms in section 01 apply to any CarCast purchase.
05 / RemoteGo — your machines, access, and safe use
RemoteGo is a client for remote desktop (VNC and RDP), SSH, and SFTP connections to machines you add. It does not provide hosting, servers, VPN service, or access to any computer. Only connect to computers, servers, and accounts you own or are authorized to access, and follow the policies of your employer, network, and any service involved. Do not use RemoteGo for unauthorized access, to bypass security controls, or to interfere with systems you do not control.
Actions you take
Everything you do in a session runs on the remote machine with that account’s permissions. Commands, file transfers, uploads that replace files, deletions, shutdowns, configuration changes, and Wake-on-LAN requests can have immediate and irreversible effects. Snippets and tmux sessions run what you tell them to. You are responsible for reviewing what you send and for keeping backups of important data on your machines. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PichLabs is not responsible for data loss, downtime, or damage resulting from actions taken through RemoteGo.
Credentials and security
You are responsible for choosing strong passwords and keys, protecting your device, and verifying host keys and certificates before trusting them. RemoteGo warns when a saved host key changes, but cannot guarantee the identity or security of a remote machine or network. Some VNC servers do not encrypt sessions; use SSH tunnelling or a VPN on untrusted networks.
Compatibility
Connections depend on the remote machine’s operating system, its sharing and security settings, and your network. We do not guarantee compatibility with every version of macOS, Windows, Linux, VNC server, SSH server, or authentication method, or continued compatibility after third-party updates. Windows Remote Desktop hosting requires an edition of Windows that supports it. Wake-on-LAN requires a supported, configured machine and network and usually works only on the same network. RemoteGo is independently developed and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple, Microsoft, Tailscale, or the developers of any remote access software.
License and payments
Apple’s standard end-user license agreement applies to App Store downloads unless a separate applicable license is supplied. If RemoteGo offers a purchase, its price and included features are shown in the app and Apple’s confirmation before payment, and Apple’s payment and refund rules apply. The one-time purchase terms in section 01 apply to any RemoteGo purchase. RemoteGo includes open-source components under their own licenses.
06 / Ownership and privacy
You retain ownership of your photos and videos. Photo library permission lets Cleanup Go perform the actions you authorize; it does not transfer ownership of your media to us. PichLabs and its licensors retain ownership of our apps, branding, designs, and original website content.
Our Privacy Policy explains each app’s processing, connections to third parties, and optional support correspondence.
07 / Warranties and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our website and apps are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, detection of every duplicate, any particular storage saving, or preservation or recovery of all data.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PichLabs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, or loss of data arising from use of, or inability to use, the website, Cleanup Go, CarCast, or RemoteGo. This includes accidental deletion and changes that synchronize through iCloud.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or other protected liability under applicable law. Where a limitation is not permitted, it applies only to the extent the law allows.
08 / Third-party services
Apple Photos, iCloud, the App Store, media servers, streaming providers, remote machines and their operating systems, VPN services such as Tailscale, email providers, and linked websites operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control their availability, synchronization, retention, or recovery behavior.
09 / Changes, termination, and contact
We may update these terms or modify, suspend, or discontinue services, subject to applicable law and purchased rights. Material changes will be communicated through this page and, where required, an additional notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. You can stop using the app at any time.
